Choosing a photographer to photograph one of the most special days of your life isn’t just about liking the style of their art, ideally you’re also connecting on a personal level. When a couple hires me to photograph their wedding day, I include a free engagement portrait session because I feel it is so important for us to form a connection and for them to feel comfortable with me before the big day.

During your engagement session, get ready to tell me your love story! I love hearing how couples formed their connection and what their life has looked like so far. We’ll also discuss your vision for the wedding and talk through some logistical information.

Engagement sessions are a great way to spend some time at one of your favorite places, bonding with your soon-to-be spouse and getting more comfortable with photos that so on your wedding day, you can be present and enjoy the fun!
