Ketchikan family photographer - Refuge Cove
I met up with the cutest toddler besties for a summer morning beach session. The girls and their moms explored Refuge Cove, just a few miles north of downtown Ketchikan, Alaska. It’s so fun to see their personalities begin to form at this age. Some words, some toddler babble and lots of squeals.
As I get settled up here in Ketchikan, it’s been fun to explore new parks and beaches each week. We’ve had a steady stream of visitors over the summer so when the house is quiet (rare!) I take advantage to get out and wander my new home. Bear, my dog, has loved our adventures and he is always up for time on the water! I drive past Refuge Cove every time I head to town so a few weeks back I finally stopped to check it out. It is perfect for photos! Space in the trees, lots of driftwood and a beautiful, spacious beach.
Little Jubilee and Ella were so sweet to watch as they explored Refuge Cove and snuggled with their moms. These girls had such different personalities but also so much spunk! They came prepared with boots and extra layers as the mornings have already cooled off here. Cannot wait to photograph more families here!
